Our Vision
At HOUSEKC, we BELIEVE that there can be a unified response to Homelessness in KC and it starts with us: advocates, individuals that are houseless, and neighbors.

To create a common understanding in our community around houseless issues

To mobilize regular Kansas Citizens- neighbors caring for neighbors,

To work towards Martin Luther King Jr’s vision of the “Beloved Community” - where everyone belongs and everyone's needs are met.

Our Core Focus
Ending Homelessness
We are deeply committed to ending homelessness in Kansas City by providing support, raising awareness, and promoting long-term solutions to combat homelessness. Our goal is to uplift the individuals and families impacted by this issue.
Community Empowerment
Empowering the community is at the heart of our work. We believe in fostering a supportive environment, nurturing solidarity, and cultivating a sense of belonging within our community: Neighbors caring for Neighbors. Together, we can create a more compassionate and inclusive society.
Advocating for Change
Our advocacy efforts focus on driving policy changes, raising public consciousness, and championing housing first. We are committed to being a voice for those marginalized and driving meaningful progress in the fight against homelessness and social disparities.
